As a current Board Member for the Central Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, Scott, as well as the entire organization, is dedicated in growing businesses and communities by providing various resources, support, and awareness. For Scott, he believes in embodying the voice as a liaison between business entrepreneurs and the communities in order to make the best well-thought out decisions for everyone to benefit and grown. As a former high school athlete and sports enthusiaist, Scott’s beliefs aligns with the Special Olympics mission in providing year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who with to participate. For Scott, this is an opportunity for him to give back to his community by being a mentor to these kids. What brings Scott the most joy about participating in such an organization is not simply the heart of the competition, but the smile and joy he sees in every child’s face.
Boys & Girls Club
Founded in 1971, the Boys & Girls Club is a non-profit youth development organization dedicated to promote the educational, vocational, healthy leadership, and character for boys and girls ages 6 to 18 in a safe and nurturing environment. For Scott, he believes in providing every child the opportunity for success. That is why he enjoys this program. The idea of providing quality resources for disadvantaged youth is something that in his eyes is bigger than himself.
